The elderly shared with me
Shades of despair and loneliness
Yearning for hope and support
Reach out safely

What a thoughtful heartfelt poem to remind us to reach out to our elders who might need human contact now more than ever…

In fewer than 25 words this poem captures the mood, the fears, the hope, and the support needed during our pandemic.
