Today
we buy ice cream
in the silence
of a stretched
out queue.
We keep safe.
We try
to keep safe.
Knowing
tomorrow it might change
again.
Tomorrow it might rain
again.
22nd July 2020
We
move in closer
teasing
test-
ing
the boundaries
like a surgical gown
they
l o o s e n.
Julia Graves: I am currently studying creative writing with the OU. So far, I’ve won one local writing competition and been placed in one national competition. Hoping to start a blog soon.
